Many funeral homes have kept their names but sold to national conglomerates: publicly traded corporations answerable to stockholders, which means growing profits year after year. Families pay more while receiving less.
Legacy is family owned and operated. Our promise is simple: dignity, a written price, and a person who answers.
We appreciate the trust that families and hospice caregivers place in us, and we work directly with hospices across our service area. At no time is a family without support.
Everything is gathered gently over the telephone, and clergy or licensed social workers are available should a family member seek an opportunity to share.
Never an answering service. A licensed funeral director picks up at two in the morning on a Sunday, because that is when families need one.
Itemized, covering your specific arrangement, given to you before you authorize a thing. Nothing is added afterward.
Authorizations are signed electronically. Most of the families we serve never set foot in Florida.
Our staff answers in both, and every page of this site is published in both.

Our establishment is in Fort Myers, though almost nothing requires you to come to it. Arrangements are made by telephone and email, and transport is dispatched to the place of death rather than asking a family to travel to us.
